Intro
A classic word hunt with a timer. Every grid is built fresh from the site's shared word bank: pick one of 12 themes (Animals, Space, Kitchen, Dungeon, Green Things, Ocean, Food, Sports, Science, Weather, Music and Geography) or Mixed, which pools all of them.
How to play
- Type your player name (and a group if you like), pick a theme and a difficulty, and press New game.
- Press on the first letter of a word and drag in a straight line to the last letter, then let go. It works with a mouse or a finger.
- Found words are crossed off the word list. Find them all before the time runs out. When time is up, any words you missed are shown on the grid.

Scoring
100 points per word. Find every word before the clock runs out and you add 5 points for every second left, times the difficulty bonus. Your score is sent when the game ends.
Leaderboards, groups and chat
Type a player name before you start. Add a group name (a team or crew) if you like: the leaderboards have Game, My group, Groups and Overall tabs. A live chat for this game sits beside the board (on a phone held upright it is tucked away; turn the phone sideways to see it). Use the Share on X button at the top to tell your friends, and when a game ends with a score you can share that too.
