Grok Tycoon
You have just taken over the Rusty Comet, a small cantina at a busy starport. Thirty days to turn it into the best-loved stop in the sector: add tables, improve the menu and decor, upgrade the kitchen, hire staff and keep the smugglers in line.
How to play
- Type a name and press Register once if you want your scores on the leaderboard. Without a name you play practice seasons.
- Pick Easy or Pro in Choices, then press Start game.
- Guests arrive through the door, take a seat, are served and pay. Tap an upgrade in the list on the right (or press 1 to 0) to buy it.
- Use - and = (or the Price buttons) to set prices from 1 to 7, and hold F or Space to fast-forward.
- Each night you see the day's report and pay rent and wages. After day 30 your final worth is your score.
Upgrades and staff
- Tables seat four. Guests who wait too long at the door for a seat give up, and that hurts your reputation.
- Waiters and cooks decide how many tables are looked after at once; the kitchen makes every meal faster. Too few and guests wait, get grumpy and stay longer.
- A better menu earns more per guest and pleases them; nicer decor brings more guests, raises the reputation ceiling and, from level 3, attracts VIP admirals who pay ten times as much.
- Security droids stop most late-night brawls, which otherwise cost credits, reputation and half your guests.
- A band brings a crowd for the day; holo-ads add reputation and guests for two days.
- Let a staff member go removes the last person you hired and saves their wage.
Prices and reputation
Higher prices earn more from every guest, but fewer guests come, they lose patience sooner and they are harder to please. Happy guests raise your reputation, which brings more guests. Keep an eye on the red ! over guests who have waited too long.
Easy and Pro
Pro doubles the rent, makes guests pickier and brings more trouble. Both share the same leaderboard. If your credits fall below -1,500 at closing time the cantina goes bankrupt and the season ends with half its worth.
Scoring
Worth = credits + half of everything spent on upgrades and staff + 50 per reputation point. At the end of the season every VIP you served adds 100 more.
Fair scores
The game records only your choices. When the season ends, the server replays them on its own copy of the cantina rules and posts the worth it computes, so every score on the board is real.
Autosave
If you close or reload the page in the middle of a season, it comes back paused exactly where you left it.
Leaderboards and chat
The High scores tab shows each player's best verified worth and guests served, and Overall shows the site-wide totals. Grok Chat pops up from the corner. Use Share on X at the top to tell your friends.
