Grok Pinball
An original pinball table set in a busy Starport: two flippers, three pop bumpers, slingshots, drop targets, the Hyperspace Ramp, the Cantina ball lock and the Comet orbit. Finish missions to raise your score multiplier, lock two balls for multiball and chase the 25,000-point jackpot.
How to play
- Type a name and press Register once if you want your scores on the leaderboard. Without a name you play practice games.
- Pick Cadet or Pro in Choices, then press Start game (or Enter, or tap the table).
- Hold Space (or the Launch button) to pull the plunger back and let go to launch. Let go at about 70% power for a skill shot worth 5,000.
- Work the flippers with Left Shift / Z / Left arrow and Right Shift / slash / Right arrow, or tap the left and right halves of the table.
- Keep the ball out of the gap between the flippers and the outlanes at the sides. You have 3 balls.
The table
- Pop bumpers (100 each) kick the ball around the middle; slingshots above the flippers bounce it back.
- Top lanes: roll through all three to raise the end-of-ball bonus multiplier. Each flipper press moves the lit lanes along, so you can line up the gaps.
- Docking targets on the left: knock down all three to light the Cantina lock.
- Cantina saucer on the right: 1,000 points, or a ball lock when it is lit. Lock 2 balls to start 3-ball multiball.
- Hyperspace Ramp: shoot it with speed for 2,500 (and a combo bonus if you hit it again quickly). During multiball every ramp is a 25,000 jackpot.
- Comet orbit up the left side (1,500) and the spinner in the right lane (100 a spin).
- Kickback in the left outlane throws a drained ball back into play once; it relights with every mission.
Missions
The current mission is shown under the scores: bash the bumpers, make ramps, drop the targets, light the lanes, lock a ball, shoot the orbit, rip the spinner and start multiball. Each mission completed scores 10,000 times its number, raises the bonus multiplier and every two missions raise the score multiplier (up to x6). After three and seven missions the table gets a little faster.
Cadet and Pro
Cadet starts gently with a long ball save on the first ball, a shorter one on the next balls and the kickback lit. Pro halves the ball save and turns the kickback off. Both share the same leaderboard.
Scoring
Bumpers 100, lanes 200, drop targets 500 (3,000 for the bank), slingshots 10, Cantina 1,000, ball lock 5,000, orbit 1,500, ramp 2,500, multiball start 10,000, jackpot 25,000 and skill shot 5,000, all times the score multiplier. When a ball drains you get an end-of-ball bonus for everything you hit, times the bonus multiplier. Extra balls come at 150,000, 500,000 and 1,200,000.
Fair scores
The game records only your flipper and plunger inputs. When a game ends, the server replays them on its own copy of the table physics and posts the score it computes, so every score on the board is real.
Autosave
If you close or reload the page in the middle of a game, it comes back paused exactly where you left it.
Leaderboards and chat
The High scores tab shows each player's best verified score and missions completed, and Overall shows the site-wide totals. Grok Chat pops up from the corner. Use Share on X at the top to tell your friends.
