Grok Odyssey

An original 3D open-world island adventure, drawn live with a self-hosted copy of three.js. Rolling ocean waves, sandy beaches, meadows, forests, snowy peaks, ash fields with glowing lava and lantern-lit caves, under a full day-night sky with sun, moon and stars, rain and lightning storms. A third-person camera follows your hero; zoom with the mouse wheel or + and -. A Graphics choice (Low, Medium, High) keeps it smooth on modest PCs, and it steps down by itself if the frame rate drops below 30.

The isles: Dawnreach, Verdant Hollow, Emberpeak, Frostmere and Saltspire each have a village, a cave, a rune shrine, three lore stones and a guardian lair. Sail between them in your skiff (OK at the water), and glide from a glide stone to the sky isle Skyfold. Fast travel to any village you have visited from the map.

Gather and craft: wood, stone, herbs, iron, crystal, hide and bone. Better blades cut iron and crystal. The forge upgrades blade, armour, pack, boots and lantern (five levels each), makes potions and, once an elder teaches you the pattern, the Ember Charm, Warm Cloak and Glider. Sell at the market.

Villages and quests: each elder has three tasks: a delivery, a hunt and a relic hidden in the isle's cave. Finishing them opens the guardian gate.

Shrines and lore: the lore stones hint at each shrine's rune order (Sun, Moon, Wave, Leaf). Waking a shrine grants +20 maximum HP.

Guardians: Brineclaw and five more, ending with the Stormcrown over Skyfold. Each has a cinematic intro, its own attacks and an enraged phase. The campaign takes many hours. The Daily isle gives everyone the same island, gear and five minutes.

Score = a twentieth of all gold earned + 3000 per guardian + 400 per quest + 600 per shrine + 150 per lore stone + 80 per craft + 8 per creature + 15000 for breaking the Stormcrown, times the difficulty (Wanderer 1, Adventurer 1.25, Legend 1.5). Daily score = gold earned + 40 per creature + 120 per lore stone + 3000 for the guardian. Every posted score is replayed on the server.
