Grok Advanced Dreams and Dragons

An original fantasy role-playing game for one player and a party of four heroes. It remakes the stats and scoring of the Grok ADnD tabletop scripts (Nova Live DM engine, pop-ups, enchanting and the mega add-on pack). Every monster, villager, place, item and tale is new, and all the art is drawn by the game.

The world: one map of 256 by 256 tiles split into eight lands: Thornwood Vale, Mirelow Fens, Saltwhisper Coast, Saffron Wastes, Ironcrown Peaks, Frostmarch, The Gloaming and Cloudspire. It holds 40 towns, 120 villagers, 60 dungeons, 120 landmarks and 2500 placed encounters. Sealed gates open as the main story moves on.

The party: four heroes from 13 classes (Fighter, Barbarian, Ranger, Paladin, Thief, Bard, Wizard, Sorcerer, Cleric, Druid, Warlock, Spellsword, Hexblade), 7 races and 3 alignments. Stats use the standard array placed by class. The party shares one level from 1 to 12 in three tiers (1-3, 4-7, 8-12). Moving up a tier needs training in town, milestones and gold. Martial heroes strike twice from Tier 2.

Rules: d20 checks against difficulty 8, 12, 15, 18 or 22, ascending armor class, Fortitude/Reflex/Will saves, surprise, reaction rolls (Fight, Parley, Sneak or Back off), monster morale, and the conditions poisoned, burning, asleep, exhausted, frightened, bleeding and cursed. Casters have spell slots by tier and may overcast at a risk. 60 spells in three schools.

Dungeons are played room by room with the original d12 tables for room, feature, threat, animal, treasure and twist, plus a d8 weird law per visit. Torches last 6 turns and lanterns 12. A threat clock rises with noise and fights, and wandering monsters come out of the dark. Bosses and guardians wait on the last floor.

Towns have an inn and three villagers: traders (prices depend on your best Charisma), healers, trainers, sages, loremasters and elders with quests and guidance. 80 quests ask you to slay, clear, visit or fetch.

The Council of eight guardians lends aid for Wisdom Points: a blessing, a vision of the next goal, or a full intervention.

Score = experience (monsters, gold found counts 1:1, discoveries, quests, milestones) × difficulty (Easy 1, Normal 1.25, Hard 1.5) + 3000 per chapter + 20000 for hearing all 150 tales. The Daily Delve gives everyone the same seeded dungeon and a ready-made Tier 2 party; it scores the experience earned inside.

Every session is a recorded input log replayed by the server, so scores are checked exactly. The game autosaves; there is no undo. A bot playing it measured about 3.5 hours for the main story on Easy, 8 hours on Hard, and about 34 hours to see everything.
